Triage Investiga Represents Indonesia at the 18th Annual ACFE Africa Anti-Fraud Conference

✨ Honoured to represent Indonesia at the 18th Annual ACFE Africa Anti-Fraud Conference & Exhibition in Johannesburg (15–17 September 2025).

With Artificial Intelligence as this year’s theme, the conference brought together global anti-fraud professionals to discuss how technology is reshaping the way we detect, prevent, and respond to fraud.

Representing Triage, I joined fellow practitioners in Johannesburg to exchange perspectives and learn from leading voices in the field. With expertise in forensic accounting, fraud investigations, and financial crime advisory, his presence reflected our commitment to advancing integrity and resilience across industries. I was also asked to bring Indonesia's flag as respresentative from Indonesia.

Keynotes set the tone for powerful discussions and provided valuable insights for practitioners. Ian Cameron shared practical strategies for strengthening law enforcement in fraud prevention. Prof Thuli Madonsela reflected on systemic challenges in prosecuting corruption and maintaining judicial integrity. Amritha Reddy explored the evolving landscape of digital fraud, highlighting emerging threats such as deepfakes and automated scams. Thor Pedersen provided real-world insights into cryptocurrency investigations and cross-border financial schemes. Shamila B. emphasized the importance of systemic capacity-building and partnerships to successfully prosecute complex crimes. Additional contributions from Scott Johnston and Godfrey Howes offered deeper perspectives on leveraging cryptocurrency intelligence and ethical whistleblowing to enhance accountability. Together, these sessions offered actionable takeaways that enrich approaches to forensic investigations, risk management, and financial crime advisory.

We also appreciated the warm welcome and messages from ACFE South Africa’s CEO Jaco De Jager and Board President Len Coetzee, (CFE) Past President of the ACFE SA, who thanked delegates and highlighted the value of coming together to share knowledge, connect, and advance the fight against fraud. Also the President of ACFE Global John Gill, CFE, so glad that he was able to make it - highly appreciate the time and efforts you gave to attend the converence!

At our booth, as a sponsor and exhibitor, we shared Triage’s expertise in forensic investigations, digital forensics, cybersecurity, forensic accounting technology (FAT), whistleblowing systems, and ESG advisory, while connecting with peers and building networks that extend beyond borders.

A special highlight outside the conference was experiencing South Africa’s breathtaking safari, a reminder of the richness of the country’s heritage.
